Micromesh™ Single-Compartment Biopsy Cassettes are engineered for superior fluid exchange and efficient tissue processing without the need for biopsy pads. Each cassette features 1,676 precision-molded square openings (0.38 mm), maximizing reagent flow and drainage while keeping specimens securely submerged.
The large square compartment (27 mm) easily accommodates standard and needle biopsy samples. Oversized anterior slots in both the cassette and cover promote rapid sinking, ensuring consistent immersion during processing. A recessed, low-profile cover does not extend above the cassette, allowing more units to be stacked in automated labeling systems and tissue processors—saving valuable space and improving workflow efficiency.
Molded from durable acetal, Micromesh™ cassettes are fully resistant to the chemical action of common histological solvents. The unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45°, making these cassettes compatible with most automated cassette printers. Each cassette includes a pre-attached, easy-to-remove disposable cover for convenience and reliable handling.
