Description
SuperFlo™ is the new generation of cassettes. This micro-biopsy cassette has unique pore opening of 0.30 x 0.30mm and lateral vents allowing for maximum reagent exchange from all 4 sides. Such a high level of fluid exchange results in less incidence of unfixed or under-processed tissues. Its sloped wall design creates a basket preventing small biopsies from getting stuck in a corner. Better liquid exchange means better tissue fixation. Also avoids the need for biopsy bags and pads.
This SuperFlo™ model has a special hinge that holds the base and cover together. The hinge design allows the cassette to be opened and closed as often as required. It has a front opening with smooth writing surface. Molded from high-density polymer, this cassette keeps specimens safely submerged in liquid and is resistant to most histological solvents.
