- Optimized for Frozen Storage:
The CryoSette™ is safe for use in ultra-low temperature freezers down to –86°C, and in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen (–196°C) within Dewar flasks. Not suitable for use in direct contact with LN₂ liquid phase. - Durable and Reliable Construction:
- Container Material: Acetal base
- Screw Closure: Made of high-density polyethylene, engineered to resist seizing at low temperatures—even through multiple freeze/thaw cycles
- User-Friendly Design:
The wide-mouth opening, flat bottom, and straight sides allow for easy tissue insertion and removal.
The container is also shaped for easy handling—whether gloved or bare-handed. - Secure Screw Closure:
Features a 1¼-turn closure mechanism for quick and secure sealing. Designed for consistent performance and tight sealing even during repeated use. - Labeling & Identification Options:
- Two writable surfaces: front-facing panel and large area under the base
- Enhanced anterior surface for improved ink adhesion
- Optional ID label and transparent plastic cover available for bottom surface
- Color-coded inserts available in 5 colors for simplified sample sorting
