Histosette® Biopsy Cassettes are precision-molded from durable acetal to keep tissue specimens safely submerged throughout processing and to resist the chemical action of most histological solvents. Efficient flow-through slots with 1 mm square openings promote optimal fluid exchange and reliable drainage, ensuring consistent processing results.
A secure back-mounted locking mechanism firmly holds the lid in place to protect specimens during handling and processing, while the front hinge design allows for easy, single-handed operation. The unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45°, making Histosette® cassettes compatible with a wide range of automated cassette labeling instruments. Each cassette features a pre-attached lid for convenience and dependable performance.
