Description
Microsette® Six-Compartment Biopsy Cassettes are designed to securely process multiple tissue specimens within a single cassette. Each cassette features six individually numbered compartments (1–6), each measuring 7 × 12 mm (1/4 × 7/16 in.), allowing clear specimen separation and identification without the need for biopsy pads.
Both the cover and base are engineered with over 2,000 precision-molded square openings to maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage during processing. Each compartment contains approximately 170 openings with a diameter of 0.26 mm, keeping specimens safely submerged while promoting optimal reagent penetration.
Molded from durable acetal, these patented cassettes are resistant to most histological solvents and are built for reliable performance in routine laboratory workflows. The unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45°, making the cassette compatible with a wide range of cassette labeling and printing systems. The lid is pre-attached to the base for convenience and consistent handling.
