Description
The Micromesh™ Cassettes are specially designed for biopsy specimen processing, offering exceptional fluid exchange and drainage without the need for biopsy pads. Featuring 1,676 square openings measuring 0.38 mm, this innovative cassette promotes efficient fluid flow while securely containing small tissue specimens. The large 27 mm square compartment accommodates even needle biopsies, while oversized anterior slots in both the cassette and cover allow for rapid sinking. Molded from durable acetal, these cassettes resist the chemical action of histological solvents and keep specimens safely submerged during processing.
Designed for automated laboratory workflows, the Micromesh™ Cassettes feature a 45° angled anterior writing area optimized for printing with Primera Signature® Cassette Printers. Its recessed cover sits flush with the cassette, allowing more cassettes to be stacked in automatic labeling machines and tissue processors. Each cassette includes an easy-to-remove, pre-attached disposable cover for added convenience.
