Micromesh™ Four-Compartment Biopsy Cassettes are designed to deliver exceptional fluid exchange and reliable specimen separation without the need for biopsy pads. Each cassette features 1,676 precision-molded square openings (0.38 mm), promoting optimal reagent flow and efficient drainage throughout tissue processing.
This model, similar to the #507, includes four square compartments, each measuring 13 × 13 mm, allowing multiple specimens to be processed within a single cassette while maintaining clear organization. Large anterior slots in both the cassette and cover promote rapid sinking, ensuring specimens remain fully submerged during processing.
The recessed, low-profile cover does not extend above the cassette, enabling more cassettes to be stacked in automated labeling systems and tissue processors for improved space efficiency. Molded from durable acetal, these patented cassettes are resistant to most histological solvents and provide dependable performance in demanding laboratory environments. The unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45°, making the cassette compatible with most automated cassette printers. Each cassette includes a pre-attached, easy-to-remove disposable cover for added convenience.
