Slimsette™ Biopsy Cassettes are designed with a unique recessed cover that maximizes space efficiency, allowing more cassettes to be stacked in automated labeling machines and storage cabinets. This low-profile design helps streamline workflow while optimizing valuable laboratory space.
Molded from durable acetal, Slimsette™ cassettes keep specimens securely submerged throughout processing and are resistant to the chemical action of most histological solvents. Efficient fluid exchange and drainage are achieved through 392 precision-molded square openings, each measuring 1 × 1 mm. The unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45°, ensuring compatibility with most automated cassette printers and labeling systems. Each cassette includes a pre-attached, easy-to-remove disposable cover for convenient handling.
