Swingsette™ Biopsy Cassettes are specially designed to securely hold biopsy specimens during processing, embedding, and storage. Molded from durable acetal, these cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and resist the chemical action of most histological solvents. Precision flow-through slots with 1 mm square openings ensure optimal fluid exchange and proper drainage.
This version features a unique hinge design for easy attachment of the cover. The lid can be opened and closed multiple times, providing flexibility during processing while reducing the risk of misplacement. A large tab allows convenient one-handed opening, and the unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45° for compatibility with many automated cassette labeling instruments. Covers are packaged separately for convenient assembly as needed.
