Swingsette™ Biopsy Cassettes are designed to securely hold biopsy specimens throughout processing, embedding, and storage. Molded from durable acetal, these cassettes keep specimens safely submerged during processing and are resistant to the chemical action of most histological solvents. Precision flow-through slots with 1 mm square openings promote efficient fluid exchange and reliable drainage.
What sets Swingsette™ apart is the integrated swing hinge that permanently connects the cover to the base. This unique design allows the cassette to be opened and closed repeatedly without removing the lid, providing added convenience and reducing the risk of misplaced covers. A large opening tab enables easy, one-handed operation, while the unobstructed anterior writing surface is angled at 45° for compatibility with most automated cassette labeling instruments.
